Being the thrifter that I am, I was amazed to find that out there is another online warehouse similar to Amazon, but with better prices. Ok. I know, not everyone is a fan of amazon for a multitude or reasons (employee working conditions) being at the top of the list. However, I hate to say it, but I have needed to use Amazon’s two day prime on many occasions. But now that I have a choice, I would be willing to forgo the two day prime to get a similar quality product at half the price. So you are wondering who is this new superstar🙂 The name of the warehouse is called TEMU pronounced tee-moo . It is an American-based online marketplace, and a subsidiary of Chinese-based PDD Holdings Inc. Most products are shipped to consumers directly from China. Temu is Headquartered in Boston, MA and was launched in September 2022. And if you were wondering, Yes, Temu is a reputable site. It continues to be the most-downloaded shopping app in the app store according to Sensor Tower. So far, I can only say good things about my purchases, which have included household items, phone accessories, fascinator hats, hair accessories, children’s clothes and gloves. Everything was of good quality at a wholesale price. All my purchases had free shipping and a guaranteed delivery date. Their shipping policy states that If any item is not delivered on time, they would provide a five dollar credit. I also received excellent customer service when I received a flawed item. They actually answered the phone, resolved my issue, and immediately sent me a credit – which showed up in five minutes. I was also able to keep the flawed item, so I did not incur return shipping costs. Temu is a win win for me!
I absolutely love Temu also. I’ve ordered several items from them. In fact, I have an active shopping cart on hold at this moment…lol.
